BWCA.com Dinner at Canoecopia 2026
Trade your camp stove for a proper meal and join the BWCA.com community for an evening of food, fun, and fellowship at Canoecopia! After a day of drooling over gear you don't need (but definitely want), gather with your fellow paddlers for our annual Canoecopia dinner.
Event Details:
- Date: Saturday, March 14, 2026
- Time: Happy hour 5:45pm | Dinner 6:30pm
- Location: Cranberry Creek (private event venue), 1501 Lake Point Dr, Madison, WI 53713
- Distance from Canoecopia: 2.5 miles (easy portage, even after dessert or a quick drive to the entry point). And only a 50 rod portage from the place we had dinner at last year.
- Limited number of tickets
- We will have to cut off sales 1 week prior to the event to commit to the venue.
What's Included:
- Delicious full buffet dinner (actual plates, not a mess kit!)
- Entertaining light program featuring stories, a bit of roasting, and BWCA shenanigans
- Prize drawings (must be present to win!)
- The company of fellow Boundary Waters enthusiasts who understand why you have 47 dry bags.
- Private venue exclusively for BWCA.com members or those that wish to be indoctrinated into the community. :)
- Blank name tag and sharpies to put your name on it.
- Tax and tip included
What to Know:
- Cash bar available (wine, beer, soft drinks, etc)
- Come ready to share your favorite trip memories and 2026 adventure plans
- Dress code: Come as you are.
